Alma Mater
From the year 2000 through 2002 I attended Northern Illinois University. Yesterday a horrible event occurred on campus there. You witness things like this on television and radio and never once think that that sort of thing could ever really effect your personal sphere of comfort. With this tragedy my sphere has been punctured. I had classes in the same building where the shootings took place. I walked through those halls. I probably took the killers same steps. It is a chilling thing and I am shaken. I cannot imagine what the victims families are going through, but I wish them all comfort and support. Think of them today.
