Begin Again

New studio, new project.  This semester is going to be a little different from the last semester.  We are actually going to stick with one studio professor instead of rotating between three. 

So, with this new project we needed to take a series of photos from an urban setting eventually ending up in a rural setting and we had to utilize a repeating theme or item or something in all of these photos.  I focused on the reflections and the gradual change in reflections from urban to rural settings.

So now my task is to take this idea of reflection and to translate it into Architecture.  The trick is to do this without using a literal reflection, but instead capturing the idea and the essence of reflection within a habitable space.  This is a difficult thing to ask, but I do have some ideas and I've already completed one study model (below).  I'll post here as the idea and progress develops.

It sounds like you're happier with this arrangement over last semester's arrangement. Some day you'll have to explain your thinking behind the connection of the project to the theme in the photographs.
