This in incredibly hard to come up with ONE song that makes me nostalgic. I could have put songs like "Baby Beluga" by Raffi, or "Turning into Randolf Scott" by Leo Kottke, or "Feelin' Groovy" by Simon and Garfunkel. So take note that this choice is just one of hundreds of songs.
There are still no rap groups with a jazz influence like A Tribe Called Quest. The intro to this song always seems to draw a smile on my face. Can't say why, and I think that's why I chose it. Other songs fit the "nostalgic" mold, but they all had cute little stories to go along with them. This one makes me nostalgic because of the music. That's it. No influences needed... Commence the silent judging.
